About Chris

Chris McQuistion is a CCM artist and worship pastor in Christiansburg, Virginia. His passion is to teach with a song and to help others find a hope and a purpose in Jesus. Chris is also a big advocate for mental health awareness through songs like I Will Not Fear, See Me Through It, and Think About That. His music paints a picture of his testimony, after a time where he suffered a traumatic brain injury in college sports, leaving him with a struggle and a reason to exist in this world. He spent a solid year in recovery, which changed his outlook on life and redefined his purpose, to live and to work as worship. He now sees each day as a new day to help bring life change to those in need of that same encouragement. With Chris’ hit songs, such as I Got Joy and Fortress, his passion continues to reach audiences far and wide of all generations.

He has collaborated with Writing Worship, John Tibbs, Northeast Worship, Daniel Doss, Ross King, Render the Hearts, Kevin Winebarger, American Songwriter, along with producers Sam Hart and Jonathan Jackson. Chris has been a part of the 40 day festival at the Ark Encounter and 40 Days of Christian Music, as well as the Replenish Fest, Resound Fest, Nehemiah Fest, and GLO Fest. He has shared the stage with a variety of artists such as, Cochren and Co, TrueSong, Stars Go Dim, and Guy Penrod.

Chris recently Headlined a night at the Ark Encounter during the 40 Days of Christian Music Festival!
